Parking Stand Arrester

Parking stand arrester is a gadget that is used to protect electrical equipment or system against overvoltage by limiting its levels, extending the life of the cable. The device has a submersible, fully shielded, insulated, upfront safety features. It offers economical overvoltage protection for de-energized and energized systems.

Made from high-quality precision moulded peroxide cured EPDM insulation and semiconductive materials, parking stand arrester has a rubber body to protect the column from damage during installation. This also helps maintain a reliable current path to the MOV blocks.

Its disk column has MOV disks that are bonded together with high-conductivity, silver-loaded epoxy to allow a reliable electrical connection and prevent ais voids. Furthermore, its brass end cap offers a tight, weatherproof seal. It is commonly used on underground systems in pad-mounted transformers and entry cabinets, switching enclosures, vaults as well as other installations to facilitate shielded deadfront arrester protection.
