Power Hub Screw Anchor
The power hub screw anchor is a volute distribution guy anchor used where a normal soil condition and average holding capacities exist.
There are two types of Screw anchors.
- RR (ROUND-ROD) Screw anchors
- SS (SQUARE SHAFT) Screw anchors
Both the anchors are used for heavy-guy loading and consist of three galvanized components.
- The lead section
- The extension shaft (which includes an integral coupling)
- The guy adapter
The guy adapters and extensions have a high-strength bolt and nut.
To meet the expected anchor load capacity, the typical power hub anchor can be installed with a single 7 ft. length rod, while in some cases, additional anchor depth might be required.
The installation of a power hub anchor is possible by adding another rod of the same, either 3-1/2 ft. or 7 ft. length with a coupling or additional torque tube extension will be required to accommodate the added rods. However, the power hub anchor can be installed to a greater depth.
FEATURES
- The power hub anchors are used for tough soil where the installation possibility of solid hub anchors is very less.
- For increasing torque and bending strength, a one-piece cast steel hub is used.
- Efficient for weak soils.
- All the power installed anchors rod can be used with the anchor.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
What is power hub screw anchor?
Used for normal soil conditions, the power hub screw anchors are helical distribution guy anchors and are installed using a torque tube and Kelly bar adapter to apply torque directly to the anchor's square hub.
What is the application of the power hub screw anchor?
The main application of the power hub screw anchor is that it assemble the rod to the hub.
What is the use of power hub screw anchor?
The power hub screw anchor is commonly used with a 7' anchor rod, single, double or triple eye nut, and if there is a need for deeper installation depths, then an extension of the torque tube and anchor rod is also an option.
How to install a power hub screw anchor?
- Insert the anchor with the rod into the torque tube while fully engaging the tool locking assembly.
- As per the specific anchor instruction, installed in line with the guy.
- To select the correct rods and eye nuts for your application, see a rod with an eye nut.
- For selecting the extensions (rod with coupling), see the rod from the eye nut.
- You can see Kit for selecting catalogue number of helix hub and rod with the help of eye nut.
